Terms of booking

About these terms

These terms apply to bookings made with Afghan Guest Tourist & Travel Agency through www.afghanguest.com and the Afghan Guest app.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown per room per night in US dollars and include any Afghan Guest partner discount. Where hotels set rates in Afghani, we convert to US dollars at our published rate. A 5% Afghan Guest service fee is added and shown before you pay.

Full payment is taken by card at the time of booking via Stripe. Your room is held for 30 minutes while you pay.

Confirmation

After payment we confirm your reservation directly with the hotel. In the rare event a hotel cannot honour a booking, we will offer an equivalent alternative or a full refund.

Cancellations and refunds

Each hotel's cancellation policy is shown on its page and at checkout, and applies to your booking. Refunds are returned to the original card. The service fee is refundable whenever the room cost is refunded in full.

Letters of Invitation

A Letter of Invitation supports — but does not guarantee — a visa. Visa decisions are made by the Afghan authorities. The LOI fee is refunded in full if we are unable to issue a letter.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for holding a valid passport and visa, travel insurance that covers Afghanistan, and for following local laws and customs.

Liability

We act as an agent for the hotels and suppliers we book. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
